Ark works with cities, cultural organisations and communities to create public projects, walks and assemblies about climate change, atmosphere and future living.

Currently in Doncaster. With projects in Bradford, Sheffield and Aberystwyth.

what ark is

Ark brings people together to ask difficult civic questions in public.

It begins small.
A conversation.
A meal.
A workshop.

It can grow into a Storm-Cycle.
It can culminate in a Storm-Gathering.
It can lead to commissions, research, exhibitions.

Ark adapts to each place. The structure repeats. The content is local.

current focus: ark doncaster

In April 2026, Ark Doncaster unfolds in partnership with City of Doncaster Council, Cast and Sheffield Hallam University, contributing to the Doncaster and Humber UNESCO Biosphere application.
